CARF

CARFCARF is known as The Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Faclities.  CARF was founded in 1969 as a not for profit organization, with the main purpose being to promote outcomes-based, ethical, and quality care in a number of rehabilitation arenas.  CARF accredits a number of programs, including inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation programs, pediatric programs, spinal cord injury programs, brain injury programs, etc.

Accredited since 2004, Direct RehabMed has a prestigious 3 year CARF accreditation (maximum accreditation outcome) for its Physical Therapy, Chronic Pain Management, and Work Hardening/Conditioning programs.  We pride ourselves in being one of only a few 3 year CARF accredited Chronic Pain Management and Work Hardening programs from Dallas to Florida .  Additionally, Direct RehabMed is one of only three 3 year accredited outpatient physical therapy programs in the East Texas area.
